SEAMEN AND SHIPOWNERS.
1 STILL CONFERRING. . Tho conference of shipowners with tli® Seamen's Union representatives .sat on Saturday morning, rising shortly after midday. So far as crui bo learned, tho oarly 'adjournment signified nothing, except that the members were tired and needed rest. Tho conference will go on to-day, commencing at 9.30 a.m., and it is thought possible that it will conclude this evening. What the prospects of settlement are no members will discuss.
