On the eve of celebrating their golden wedding in Yorkton (Saskatchewan) Mr. and Mrs. M'Nicholl found the dead bodies of their six grandchildren, also a daughter-in-law, in their home on the prairies. Snow and ice had choked the stovepipe, and the coal gas had asphyxiated all tho inmates. The husband was absent at Winnipeg arranging the wedding celebration of his parents.
