THE HON. WM. PITT IN WELLINGTON. The Hon. Wm. Pitt, the eminent Melbourne architect, who is designing the new Municipal Theatre for Napier, arrived from Sydney by the Moana yesterday morning.'' lestcrdny afternoon he had an interview with the directors of tho Wellington Opera House with respect to the now theatre the company proposes to erect in Manners Street East. Nothing definite has been arranged yet in connection with the project, hut there is to bo a further meeting this afternoon, and another on Mr. Pitt's return from Napier, by which time an arrangement might bo come to whereby Mr. Pitt's services will bo secured to design the new theatre.
