All arrangements have been mado for the Amoricau and "Australian players who recently contested the Davis Cup in Christchurch to give exhibition games in Auckland, and they will play a series of matches on Thursday next. TOURNAMENT AT DANNEVIRKE. Danncvirke, Januarv 16. The Dannevirke Lawn Tennis Club's annual tournament commenced to-day in fine weather, with a strong southerly breeze. Among those present are Miss Travers (ex-lady champion). Miss Williams (Australia), Ollivier (New Zealand champion), _ Pearcc (Temuka), . and many' Hawke's Bay players. The courts are in good condition, and very fast.
