o ———9 DEATH AT A FRIEND'S HOUSE. e Shortly befpre noon yesterday, Mrs. 0 Greaves, about .70 years of age, and who had been living with her daughter (Miss J Rose Greaves) at Liffey Street, Island lihy, called nt the residence of Mrs. Hosa Hy'mes in Bidwill Street. ? Shortly after entering the house she asked for a glass of water, but before it had been procured for her she fell face forward- and expired. An inquest will be hold at the Magistrate's Court at 4 p.m. to-day. CHLORODYNE. Not feeling very well last evening, John Howell, a married man, residing at Coutts Street, Kilbirnie, purchased a bottle of 3 chlorodyne on his way from work, and 1 on reaching home took an overdose of (lie j medicine, and had to be taken to the Hospital- at 7.30 p.m. His condition was I somewhat better at midnight.
