ALLEGED INFRINGEMENT. ACTION TO BE TAKEN AGAINST NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT. By Telecrarh —Press Association —OoDyrieht (Rec. January 17, 1.18 a.m.) Melbourne, January 16. The Australian agent for the Marconi Company has issued a writ against the Huddart Parker Company claiming an infringement of Marconi patents on the ships in Victorian waters by using tho Telefunken system. The agent stated that the instructions to issue tho writ had teen received from Great Britain. Similar action will be taken in New Zealand against tho Huddart Parker Company, and the New Zealand Government. Mr. Fisk, the agent, referring, to the statement that Marconi's action against Siemens Brothers had been withdrawn, said they commenced the action for infringement of only ono patent. That was withdrawn, iij order to institute a fresh action which is now proceeding.
