SUFFRAGETTE'S MARRIAGE. CHAPLAIN HOPES FOR REFORM. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright ' ■ London, January 14. The marriage of Victor Duval and Miss Dugdale, a niece of Viscount Peel, and a prominent suffragist, has taken place at tho Chapel Royal. The bri'le had intended to omit the : promise to "obey" in the service. The Archbishop of Canterbury, on reading the announcement in the newspapers, informed the chaplain that the omission would render tho validity of the marriage doubtful. The chaplain accordingly stated at the altar that he was obliged to read the ccmplete service, though, he hoped the law would bo reformed.
