Pollen, and Mr. H. Stewart Pollen, and his brother-in-law, Mr. L. G. Porter! At tho churchyard gate the funeral procession was joined by a large number of mourners on foot. The Rev. J. G. S. bartlelt conducted a brief funeral service in St. Mary's Church, and also officiated at the graveside. Amongst those who attended were tho Prime Mnuster (Sir Joseph Waid), Col. oncl Collins (Controller and Auditor-Gnu. cral), Mr. P. W. Mansfield (RegistravGeueral and Chief Electoral Officer), Mr. H. J. 11. Blow (Under-Sccretarv for Pui. lie Works), Mr. J. W. Povntbn iSccrctary to tho Treasury), Mr. D. Robertson, Secretary, and Mr. P. V. Waters, Chief Clerk (Post and Telegraph Department), Dr. Valintiue (Inspector-General of Hospitals), and Dr. Frengloy, Mr. L. Stoire (Clerk of tho Legislative Council), and Mr. Geo. Davis (late of tho Native Department). Amongst those who represented , the Department of Internal Affairs were Messrs. R. P. Lynch (Chief Clerk), G. Newton, De La Mare, Kennedy, and Reid. Others present were Messrs. E. J. Von Dadelsaon, H. D. Bell, Ernest Bell, and P. O'Neill.
