DELEGATES ARRIVE,
Delegates representing tho waterside workers in most of the principal Dominion ports sat in conference yesterday preparatory to tho holding of the conference in which masters and men aro to meet with a view to tho formulating of a Dominion agreement. Delegates from Auckland, and other ports not represented yes™y arc to arrive to-day. Mr. P. C. Webb, federation of Labour, is presiding. I hose present were -.-Messrs. H. Carll . l<; Gould Timaru; P. Green, 11. Walks, Win. Hyde, E. Glover, G: G. tarland (secretary to the conference), Wellingtons R. Semple, Federation of Labour; W. E. Bowen, A. Glover, Nelson; W. E. Agar, H. Voyce, P. Lurch, Lyttellon; Geo. Smith, Patea; J. W. Lainont and i. Woodward, Weslport. Yesterday's sitting was held in camera, bub-committees were- set up to deal with the order of business and other matters and they will report to the main body to-dav.
