—: « _ THE CHESTERFIELD ACCIDENT. (Bar ToleEraph—Pre?s Association.) London, December 28. Three of tho ohildren whoso fancy dresses wore accidentally set alight at a Chesterfield theatre, havo died. Twenty have been placed in hospital. The first child whose clothes caught on fire rushed into the room igniting the clothes of tho others. One child is in a critical condition from burns received in endeavouring to extinguish the flames. The children who were ablaze struggled down a narrow stairway into the street, where the crowd extinguished the tlames. FIVE DEATHS. (Rec. December 29, 10.10 p.m.) London, December 29.
