In tno House of Lords, Lord Haldane, dealing with tho question of a possible invasion, stated that tho Admiralty estimated tho maximum number of. invaders at 70,000. If an expeditionary force of six divisions left England ire would still have 100,000 Special Reserve, 260,000 Tcrritorials, in addition to remaining regulars and reservists, making a total of JOO.OOO.
