Oil-well strikers at Hull overturned trollies laden with oilcake, and stoned the police, several of whom were injured, necessitating a charge by the mounted police. The strikers dispersed. BOYCOTT 01' NON-UNIONISTS. Melbourne, November 21. Tie Theatrical Employees' Association has decided to extend the boycott to nonunionists in all the other States, and has given them seven days to join the union.
MILITAKT RAILWAYMEN. (Rec. November 21, 9.50 p.m.) London, November 21. Ninety per cent, of the railwaymen at Taffvalo and ninety-eight per cent, at Burton-on-Trent balloted against tho Commission's report, and favour a. strike. Rhymney and Cardiff are similarly militant. The Liverpool cud Newcastle branches of the General Railway Workers recommended the rejection of the report in favour of a strike A STRIKE ENDED. (Rec. November 21, 9.50 p.m.) London, November 21. Tho Birmingham Small Arms Factory strike has been settled on tho basis of a rearrangement of the hoars and various wage concessions.
