POLICE LIQUOR RAIDS.
-4 SEIZURES IN THE CITY. Two "liquor" raids were mado by the police yesterday and large quantities of grog wcro seized. Sergoant liutledgo and Constable M'Kelvio raided promises in Taranaki Street and seized liquor in such quantity that an express was needed to remove it to the police station. Other premises in Willis Street; also wcro raided, ami another good-sized quantity of liquor was seized.
