CARNIVAL AT AUCKLAND.
OPENING OF THE TOWN HALL. (By Telocranh.—Press Association.) Auckland, November 19. A week's carnival will be held in connection with the opening of Auckland's new Town Hall on December H by the Governor. 'The attractions will include an organ recital by Mr. Mauglmn Barnett, of Wellington, an official reception, and an old colonists' reunion, a performance (of Handfl's "Messiah" in tho new hall by the Choral Society, and a ooncort, ait which leading Australian and New Zealand artists will assist.
