EXTENSION OF THE SCHEME, By Teleirraph-Prcss Association—Copyright London, November 2. During discussion in the House of Commons on the National Insurance Bill, Mr. Lloyd-George, Chancellor of the Exchequer, acccptcl an amendment to the Bill moved by Mr. A. J. Sherwell, Liberal member for Huddersfiold.
The amendment, which was adopted by the House, provides a method of dealing with members of the community outside approved societies by means of Post Offlco deposits insurance. The method will bo subject'to review in 1015.
