RESOLUTION ET ANGLICAN SYNOD, (By TclegraDh.—Press A.ssocla.lion.l Auckland, October 25. The question of No-License jtnd Domin-, ion Prohibition was discussed at tho Auckland Anglican Synod to-night. The Rev. C. A. B. Watson had given notice to move: "That in view of tho widespread ovils of the liquor traffic, thia Synod urgently requests churchmen and church women to consider their serious responsibility in the matter, and to voto at tho forthcomiiu? poll in favour of (a) No-License, and (b) Dominion Prohibition. At the outset, Mr. Watson was advised to omit al Itho words after "matters," it being urged that if a unanimous vote were passed it would have a greator moral effect ■•than if a division took place. Mr. Watson adopted the suggestion, and tho motion in its amended form was carried unanimously. Several speakers in support of the motion stated' that they would liavo supported tho motion in its original form, and that they regretted that tho latter portion had been omitted. Mr. Watson strongly urged that it was tho duy of ho Church to givo a load in this matter, as thousands of pcoplo were look' ing to it for guidance.
