Tho Auckland Shipmasters' Hon has forwarded n petition to tho Minister for Marino urging tho necessity for a reconstitution of the Courts of Nautical Inquiry. The petition states that thero is at present a lack of confidence as regards the findings of tho Court. Tho association proposes to reverse the present situation, and instead of having a legal man with nautical advisors to have nautical men with legal advisers.
