The prize designs of tho new P«rliamentary Buildings aro now on exhibition at tho gallery, which will bo open until Monday next'. Tho following is tho result of the students' competition :— Class I.—Study from Antique (black and white or monochrome)— Prize, Graco E. Butler. Study of Human Figure from Life (black and white or monochrome)— Prize, Lena Williamson and Kelson Isaac. Study of Animal Life (black and white or monochrome)— Second prize, Ivy Gooder. Class ll.—Study from Still Life, in oil or water colour (flowers or fruit onlv will not be accepted in this class)— Prize, Graco E. Hutlor; second prize, Mary Green and Marjory A. Harris; commended, Dorothy H. Jones. Study of Nativo Plant, in oil or water colour, or pastel— Mary Green.
Class lll.—Study of Head from Life, life size, in oil or water colour, or pastelPrize, Daisy Low. Study of Head from Life, life size, in charcoal or crayonPrize, Daisy M. White and Evelyn Shnw. Class IV.—Landscape or Marine Study from Nature, in oil or water colourPrize, W. C. Brown; commended, Hilma Bright.
