DISESTABLISHMENT.

STATEMENT BY MR. LLOYD-GEORGE. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright (Rec. September 24, 5.5 p.m.) London, September 23. Mr. Lloyd-George, in a telegram to the Welsh National Council, states that the year 1912 will see disestablishment of the Church in Wales, and the restoration of its endowments to national purposes. THE OHIER SIDE. London, Septomber 22. Lord Hugh Cecil,' Unionist M.P. for Oxford University, has inaugurated a Welsh national campaign against disestablishment. In a speech, he declared the caso was one for readjustment of the relations between Church and State, not for abolition. Mr. W. Johnson-Hicks, a member of the House of Laymen, said that the attack on the Church came from Radicalism, not from God-fearing Nonconformity.
