GOLD SCARE IN PARIS.
INCREASE IN THE BANK PATE. By Telegraph-Press Afsociation-OoDyrieW Paris, September 22. A gold scare prevails owing to tko banks refusing to pay more than sixteen par centum in gold. Some of the private banks are allowing threo francs per thousand for gold payments which are sent to Germany. The increase in the bank rate ii partially duo to tho increaso ill the circulation of paper money, which has almost reached the legal limit.
