.A meeting of Hie Wairorapa Bowlin/j Centre wr.s held at Cartcrton on Thursday evening. Mr. O. Prnenpll being in the chair. It was decided that'the centre should procure a shield for annual competition between the affiliated clubs, and, with the donor's sanction, to play the Booth Cup event in the B section. Mr. TntW was elected president of the centre and Mr. A. Phillpotts secretary.
Totara I.odtre, U.A.0.1)., winners of the local friendly soc.ielir-s' o;ml tournament this year, have been cia'ie'igcd to a card match by the Hibernian I.otlse. Masterton. Tho challenge lias been accepted.
Messrs. Ealon and Kaslileisrh. of Ekctahnna, were Hie sijcce.--f.ful tenderers for painting and decorating the Buchanan Homo at Greymouth, the price lieing jCIOIO.
