THE DISTRESSING CAB ACCIDENT
INQUEST AT NAPIER. (By Telecranh—Press Association.) Napier, August 20. Tho coroner, at the inquest on Miss Anderson, of Wellington, and Mrs.- Baker, of Napier, victims of Tuesday's cab accident', roturnod a verdict that tho mishap was purely accidental, lie recommended that several dangerous corners in ilio borough should receive attention; that a half-yearly inspection should be made of horses, harness, ' and vehicles licensed j that tho by-laws as to vehicles plying for hire should bo revised! and that' drunken and incapable drivers should be more severely dealt with.
