Dalgety end Company, Limited, report:—At,our fortnightly sale of wool, skins, hides, and tallow yesterday afternoon, .we offered a full catalogue of all classes to a good attendance of buyers. Competition was exceedingly keen for all lines submitted. Wool: The market was firm for all classes, except for crutchinT», which were slightly easier. Ilalfbred, Eli.; crossbred, 6d. to 7Jd.; crutchings, <3d. to 61d.; lambs, 7Jd.; locks, 3d. to 3Jd.; dead, sd. to 71d.; washed pieces, 45d. to 6}d. Sheepskins: All damp and salted skins, especially the latter, showed a marked advance on prices ruling at last sale. The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report as follows:—At our sale yesterday we offered a fair-sized catalogue of wool, consisting mostly of crutchings, and a large nuantity of skins, hides, and calfskins. TScrc was a good attendance of buyers, and competition was keen. Skins, if anything, were a littlo easier. Wool: Crossbred stragglers' fleece, 6'd. to 74d. per lb.: crossbred lambß, 75d.; crossbrjd crutchings medium, 5Jd. to 53d.; crossbred crutchiugs inferior, 33d. lo 4(d. Sheepskins: Crossbred wooly.
