Princo Tlcnry of Prussia, brother of llio Kaiser, had a narrow escape whilo inotc-r----ing. Ho swerved to avoid another car, and dashed into a tree. The car was shattered, and the chauffeur's skull fractured. Prince Henry, who was steering himself, had a wonderful escape, and was only bruised.

Written in common time, tho composer has with . pretty 'melody cleverly scored, causht the spirit of the dance with a delicacy and catchiness altogether pleasing. "In tho Shadows' is well within tho scope of moderately equipped pianists, which should ensure its popularity. Messrs.
