REBELLIOUS PERSIAN CHIEF
SEEKS TO RESTORE DEPOSED SHAH. By Tolegraiiii—Press Association—Conyrißbt Teheran, July 17. The tribal chief Salar-ed-Dowlah is proclaiming the deposed monarch, Mahomed Ali, as Shah. It is reported that eight hundred of Salar-ed-Dowlah's horsemen have occupied Hamadan, 185 miles south-west of Teheran. The Mcjliss has unanimously resolved to recall Sardar Assad, chief of ths Bakhtiari tribe, and tho &c-Ministor Inetria, to deal with the rebellious chief.
