CITY FIRES.
$ At fi.ls o'clock last evening the Firo Brigade received a call to HiS Ingestro Street, a two-storied brick building, known as the Kops Ale Brewery. Tlie building is owned by Mrs. Griffiths, of AVanganui, and is insured in tho Liverpool, London, and Globe office. The contents are insured in the Royal and Royal Exchange offices. The firo originated"in a-stove at the rear of the offices, but was extinguished befor\ much damage had been done.
