THE HUTT CLUB. The Hutt CluJj. on Saturday is to conduct a "bogey" competition tor Mr. Prater's m'ize. The following pairs have been drawn:—Pearson v. AVragge; AVynvard v. Manning; Climie v. Turner; Treadw-ell v. Allen; Abbott v. Purdio; P. H. Stephens v. J. E. Calbuder; AVells v. Schmidt; Robieson v. Jackson; Dawson v. Murphy; R. O. Chesney v. Bendall; X. M. Chesney v. B. Gardener. THE AVILSON CVP. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.! Palmarsion North, July G. At golf to-day Manawatu (holders) defeated \Vaii;arapa for the Wilson Cup by four games to two. Two othir games were also played not counting for tho cup, and these were won by Manawatu. (By Tclcsrapli—Special Correspondent.) Palmorston North, July C. To-day was a glorious golfers' day, and the match at Jlakowhitu between Manawatu and AVairarapa proved most enjoyable. There were eight players aside, Ihe first fix of whom • played for the AVilson Cup. Of these, four gam<s went to .Manawatu men. who thus retain tho eup. Counting all matches, Manawatu defeated AVairarapa by (i to 2, Alaliawatu's first, two men, A. Barraud (captain) and L. Seifert, suffering defeat bv J. C. and AY. Bidwell.
