He met tho owners, who agreed that tho men's demands were reasonable, but said they were unable to grant them until their own conditions improved, and they received a higher price for the cane. They suggested that the price should be regulated by the Government. Mr. Tudor was unable to see how to regulate prices, but promised that ho would make inquiries.
