GIFT FOR THE KAISER.
O ' MR. PIERPONT MORGAN'S LUTHER LETTER. By Teleeraph—Press Association—Oopyrlelit Berlin, June 27. Mr. Pierpont Morgan, tlie American banker and art connoisseur, has presented the Kaiser with Luther's letter to Charles V of Germany, protesting against his excommunication. Mr. Morgan had secured the letter at a cost of .£sllO. The Kaiser, in return for the gift, conferred upon' Mr. Morgan the Order of the Red Eagle of the first class.
