Tho students of Victoria' College'have gone to considerable trouble in preparing their extravaganza this year, and a brilliant piece, Reform," is • the result.. "Anarchists, Suffragettes, prisoners,' and university professors are "hit off'' in-their efforts to bring about reform. The acts are in turn "spectacular, ridiculous, and musicaL. all (it is said)'being permeated with wit. There is also an unusually large number of capping songs. On Tuesday'at 12 o'clock the students ■will parade the ; main streets with their annual procession, These who.saw tho procession last year are no doubt looking forward to Tuesday's event.' The monster dragon has received' a new coat of paint, and'will once more, be the object of attack for various cannibals, prehistoric men, Maoris, and; Romans. The mysteries of a secret' case will be revealed, the King of New Zealand will bo crowned, and the Auckland-Wellington controversy will be ndvanced one stage. The efforts of certain Japanese adventurers will also be wittily caricatured.
