; Every stockowner' Who visits the Falmerston - Winter Show ; to-day should make a .point'- of inspecting Messrs. Abraham and 'Williams's' exhibit. The firm has a prominent space in the' Produce Hall on'which-is made a-very effective display of the various sheep dips' and sheep.and cattle'remedies-for-'which they are agents. Prominence"■ is given to Robertson's -Highland ' Sheep Dip (paste, powder, and fluid), 'which claims the distinction of being the only dip which fulfils every condition': laid down' by the United States Government-(vide preface to second edition of "Wood's Sheep Dipping"). The- manufacturers -of Highland Sheep Dip still attach special importance to their paste dip, for it was this wonderful preparation which won' for them the world-wide: reputation which they now enjoy. Twenty years ago Mr.- Holmstead, of l'ort Adelaide, Falkland Islands, obtained a sample' order of Highland Paste Dip for use on hi? (lock.'-'The results were so .satisfactory that " in a short time "Highland" became the popular dip iu the-Falkland'. In the course of a fewyears the scab, which been, the terrible scourge .for a long period 'of time, was completely, eradicated, the first breeder to obtain a clean -certificate being Mr. James Grpenshields, of Douglas Station, who has used Highland' Dip exclusively for eighteen years. It is, however,, quite unnecessary to go beyond New Zealand for tangible evidence of tho value of this preparation. Season . alter . season . wools dipped with Highland Dip have topped tho market in New Zealand. Another point which has assisted in bringing about its existing popularity is the perfect frankness with which tho manufacturers havo'disclosed the nature of its composition;'. There is lio need for secrecy on this score, for by ■ describing its nature the maker is able to prove its superiority. Every flock-owner should ' endeavour to secure from Messrs. AbraJiam and Williams a small booklet entitled "Notes on Dip and Wool," in which the virtues of this wonderful dip are set forth in most convincing manner. Other features of the exhibit'are Robertson's.Terebene Balsam and Red Cross Worm Drench. ..The Terebene Balsam- is a. world-famed veterinary remedy for horses, cattle, and sheep. Applied externally it possesses healing properties in a wonderful degree, and given internally it is a specific for the majority of ailments to which stock Are subject. It is claimed that .Terebene Balsam lias five times the antiseptic value of carbolic oil. _ The value of Robertson's Worm Drench is annually becoming more fully recognised by farmers. It is. absolutely safo and. thoroughly .effective. It is a direct tonic a$ well as a vermifuge, and in addition to the expulsion of both throat worms ami intestinal worms it Strengthens and tones'the vital functions, so that sheep rapidly put on fat with ordinary nourishment. Red Cross' Drench Should not only-be administered to'the vck and weakly sheep, but. also to the vigorous and strong. The direct result will be . apparent in the greater number of lambs and their stronger constitution. The exhibit includes many other lines of special importance-V tlio sheep and dairy farmer, but it is impossible to givo even a brief description of them all. Whatever else the farmer might, miss at the show, he should make a point of carefully inspecting the exhibit made by Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd..., ' ■ fh-
