I'RLMT AND VEGETABLES. Coak Island oranges .(transhipped from the Ilauroto) were landed for tho Wellington market this week. Most of the shipment was in bad order. Prices ranged from Hs. Gd. to fis. fid. a case. Sydney fruit, ex Ulimaroa, came on to a full market. Choice mandarins sold front 7s. to Bs. Gd. per gin case; oranges -Is. to os.; pino apples, 7s. to 95.; and passion fruit 2s. to Gs. per, half gin. Hobart pears cx Moana sold nt good prices. Dessert sorts . averaged 7s. per half gin case. Port Albert apples brought Bs. to !)s., Motueka cookers 4s. (id. to 65., and dessert Gs. Gd. to Bs. Gd. Christcliurch pears realised 7s. to 10s. Hothouse tomatoes brought 7Jlb„ and tomatoes grown outside 3s. Gd. to lis. Gd. a half case. Vegetable quotations are: Choice cauliflower, lGs. to 20s. a sack; other cauliflower, Gs. to 1,05.; choice cabbage, 4s. to 7s. sack; pumpkin, 3s. Gd. to 45.; swede, 25.; carrot, 3s. to Is.; parsnip, 3s. to 4s. fid.; potato. Gs. to 9s. a sack; and onion, 3s. Gd. to 4s. a bag of about one cwt. Fresh eggs bring 2s. a dozen; preserved eggs Is. 2d. to Is. 3d.; and fowls 3s to 35." Gd. per pair.
