There will not bo any deliveries through the city and suburbs by the letter carriers, but a delivery will be made at the Drill Shed, Maginnity Street, from 9 to 10 a.m.. < t nil correspondence which would lr.ider rrdinary circumstances bo delivered by lettercarriers; also a similar delivery will bo made from tho Drill Shed, Maginnity Street, on Friday evening, Juno 2, fiom 8.30 to 9.30 o'clock. The public delivery counter will be open at the chief office from 8.30 to 9.30 p.m. on. Friday, June 2. and 9 to 10 a»m. on Saturday, June 3 (King's Birthday), for delivery of correspondence addressed to tho Post OlHce. The parcels delivery counter at the Drill Shed will be open for delivery of parcels from 8.30 to 9.30 p.m. on Friday, June 2, as well as 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Juno 3 (King's Birthday). Mails for Niuc Island close at Auckland, per schooner Kcreru, on Monday, June 5, at 10.45 a.m. Mails for Chatham Islands, per Himitangi, close at Lyttclton, Monday, June 5, at noon. Mails for Australian States and South Africa, elosc at Auckland, per Maheno, Monday, Juno 5. at 4.15 p.m. ■ Mails for Australian States close at Bluff, per Manuka, Monday, Juno 5, at 3 p.m. Mails for Rarotonga and Tahiti close at Auckland, per Talunc, Tuesday, June 6, at 10.45 a.m. All the principal mails by train and Eteamer closo at Te Aro and Courtenay Place Post Offices-at the same hours as nt the Chief Post Office, with the exception that there is no late-fee clearance. All books and samplc-packela and newspapers for places within tho Dominion must be posted half an hour before tho ordinary letter-mail closes.
