ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
DEATH OF A CHILD. Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., concluded an inquest yesterday concerning the death of the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Welch, of Lower Hutt. Tho child (aged ono year and eight months) died suddenly on Monday last, and.an inquest was opened on Tuesday. Dr. Hector gav.o evidenco yesterday to the effect that death was due. to heart disease. A verdict was _ returned in accordance with tho medical testimony.
