SIR E. SHACKLETON'S APPEAL. By Tekjraiih—Press Association—Copyrieht London, May 12. The "Daily Mail" states that Sir Ernest Shackleton's appeal on behalf of Dr. MawsonY Antarctic expedition was an immense success. Dr. Mawson's ship will leave the Thames at the end of Junj next, and go to Melbourne. Thence sho will proceed to Hobart, which will be the final porf of departure. THE JAPANESE EXPLORERS. Sydney, May 13. Tho Japauese explorers who arrived here unexpectedly recently intend to leave for the Antarctic again in three months' time.
