Wooding at.St. Peter's Church,
A quiet little wedding took place in St. Peter's Church, Willis Street, on Thursday, May 11, when Air. Herbert J. Brister (lato of London) was married to Agues J. Macdonald, of. Wellington. The ceremony was performed by tlio Yen. Archdeacon Harper. The bridesmaids were. Miss I'\ A. Shearer (sister of the bride), and Miss Ualdcy (daughter of the Hon. A. Baldey, M.L.C.), while Mr. Wm. Vnss acted as best man. Mr. A. Simpson gave 'the brii o away. After the ceremony the bridal party foregathered at God'ber's, Cuba Street, where the wedding breakfast took place. The bride was married in molo velvet costume, and toquo to match, with white plumes. Tbo bridegroom's present to tbo bride was a beautiful diamond and pearl ring, wliilo' the bridesmaids each received a' cold pendant,, set with rubies and pearls.Air. and Mrs, Brister left slioi+ly afterwards by the express for the north, llie bride s travelling-dress was a Mavy yun tailoi-mado costume with velvet toquo to match.
