Modeling at Crcatford,

An interesting wedding was celebrated at St. Martin's Church, Greatford, on May 10, when Miss Elsio Mary Pryce, ckl'jst daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Pryce, Rangitawa, Halcoiiibe, was married to Mr. Charles Horaco Gervais Hewitt, fourth son of Captain Hewitt, R.N., and Mrs. Hewitt, Tβ Maine, Puluierston North. The church had been beautifully decorated for the occasion by the friends of the bride, and the service was performed by the Rev. Mr. Solar. Tho bride wore a lovely gown of soft cream satin with a tunic overdress of old Brussels laco (the gift of her mother),, and a long veil falling to tho hem or" her dress. She was given a why by her father, and was attended by Miss Winifred Pryce (sister of the bride), Miss Hewitt (sister of tho bridegroom), and Miss Helta Cargill. They wore simple and most becoming frocks of cream satin with folded bodices,, and over-skirts handsomely braided with satin braid. A touch of blue on the corsage corresponded with the blue'silk roses clustered with gold cord on ouo side of tho largo black panne hats. Their bouquets were of white chrysanthemums and autumn [lowers. ■

Tho bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr.. Arthur Hewitt, ns best man, and. Mr. Eric Pryce (brother of the bride), and Mr. Donovan Riddiford (cousin of the bridegroom) wero groomsmen. Tho brido's present from tho bridegroom was a handsome gold bangle; and to the bridesmaids were giveii very pretty pearl pendants. Miss Willis played tho "Wedding March" as tho bridal party left the church.

After the, corcmonj a reception was held at llnngitawa, where the gardens (in spito of ike lateness of the season) looked picturesque, tho native bush making a charming background for tho English trees, with which the grounds are planted. A largo.marquee had been erected on the lawn, and hero the usual speeches were made and toasts honoured. .Mrs. Pryce received her guests in a graceful frock of black ninon over white satin, and a large black hat. Sho carried a very lovely bouquet of azaleas and autumn foliage. Mrs. Hewitt, mother of the bridegroom, wore' black, heavily braided, and a black hat with osprey plumes. Mrs. Barnes (England), aunt of the bride, was in a handsome black dress and black bonnet; Mrs. J. Hewitt, blue crystalline and largo black hat with pink roses; Miss Jennings, aunt of tho bride, blue coat and skirt and floral toque. Among others present were: Mrs. D. J. Riddiford, Mrs. Gordon Hare, Mrs. Willis, Mrs. Wilde, Mrs. Norman Gorton, Mrs. R. L. Levin, Mrs. .Sylvester (Otaki), the Misses.Fraser, Mrs. Potts, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Abraham, Mrs. Avnaud Barraud, Mr. and Mrs. H. Lethbridge, Mrs. and Miss Dalrvmple, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall, Mrs. liosher, Miss Monckton, Miss Sybil Abraham. Messrs. ]<\ Hewitt, T. Willis, H. Cooper, K. Dalrymple, Kicler. Jacob, It. Dalrymple, and Master Billie Cooper. Later in the. afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Horace Hewitt. left by motor-car for Wauganui, en route for Auckland, tho bride wearing a cream coat and skirt piped with blue,- and toque, stole and muff of sealskin.
