The .usual shipment of Cook Island oranges, via Auckland, was landed ex Monowai on Friday morning. Tho shipment was a small one. Choico well-col-oured' .fruit sold at from Bs. to 10s.; inferior and in bad order, 4s. 6d. to 7s. 6d. ; per double case. Mandarins from Sydney wero sold on Thursday at Bs. per half gin box. This was tho first shipment for the coming season. New 'South Wales lemons, mostly very green, sold at ss. Gd. to 7s. 6d. per case. South Australian, grown", were sold yesterday at 10s. to 12s. per busliel case. So far no locally-grown are available. .

Passion fruit from' Australia realised from 3s. to Bs. per half gin case, according to quality. New Zealand grown are worth ss. 6d. to 6s. per quarter case. Persimmons sold at 4s. to os. per quar-

Queensland pineapples arrived this week via Sydney and choice sold at 9s. to 10s. Gd.; inferior, 7s. 6d. to Bs. Gd. Pears are in good demand. Consignments from Mclbouvno sold on Friday at 9s. to 11s.
