Tho King's Festival at tho Town Hall continues to attract. There was a good 'attendance last night, and a brisk business was clone. In the final of the tug-of-war competition, the Drivers defeated the Druids, and Sandow secured a victory over O'Leary at catch-as-catch-can wrestling. During the evening an interesting, exhibition of weight-lifting was given by the pupils i of Mr. O'Leary. BOXING. Billy Murphy, the ex-light-weight champion boxer of New Zealand, is to bo tendered a benefit by the Northern BoxiDg Association at Auckland on May 8. Tim Tracy, of Wellington, has consented to take part in the tourney on that occasion. BOWLS. Y-M.C.A. WORK. In a letter to Mr. Holmes, the local Y.M.C.A. secretary, Mr. AV. Gillanders, the newly-appointed secretary of the Sydney Y.M.C.A., states that ho will enter upon his duties on July 1. He is at present speaking on the results of his decent Eastern tour at various 'church gatherings in Victoria. The Rev. Harry Lang, the Y.M.C.A. missionary secretary in Hyderabad, India, has entered upon his work, and writes pleasantly of his reception in India. He is at present studying Hindustani.
