GOLF.
The members and guests who attended the opening of the Hutt Golf Club had nothing to complain of so far as the weather was concerned. After the usual declaration as to opening, and grouping for photographic purposes, the playing memners took part in a mixed foursome. The winners were Mr. and Miss Callcnder, with the excellent score of 1 down on bogev, handicap 10; Tho following wero tho best of tho other cards'handed in:— Wills and Miss Wilson, 2 down; Treadwell ami Mrs.- Coverdale, i down; Brown and Miss Parsons, 5 down..
