At the Duppa Street Reserve on Saturday, a "trial lacrosse match was played between tho Capitol and Kelburne Clubs. After an interesting and strenuous game, Capitol succeeded in beating their opponents by 10 points to 2. For tho winners the ioliowinff mado the score:—Rankin, 3; Bitossi, 2; Hubbard, 2; Fortes, 2; Montgomery, 1. For the losers, F. Stairmand and another were the scorers. On the adjoining ground, Columbia and Wellington Clubs played a very interesting "trial."
