Tho To Aro Sailing Club was tho only club fortunate enough to get its race off on Saturday afternoon, as the wind, which was very light, did not last long enough to enable the - bigger ynchts to get round their course.' , The Tc Aro Sailing Club held its ladies' race, which was won by the Kan (!!min.), sailed by Miss L. Watt, with'the IC'aitare (scratch), sailed by Miss H. Highett, second, and the Lotus (llmin.), sailed by Jliss ]iolhoff, third. The Port Nicholson Yacht Club's race for second-class yachts was postponed, as tho wind dropped. The Cruising Club's race .was,also .postponed owing to tho wind dropping. When the yachts engaged in this rnco arrived at Korokoro, tho crews were entertained at afternoon tea by the crew of the flagship, Ehona.
