THE RECIPROCITY AGREEMENT

NO SPECIAL SESSION OF CONGRESS. By Telegraph—Press Association—CopyriEht (Eec. April 3, 0.55 a.m.) New York, April 2. It is now stated that the extra session of Congress, in which it was at first believed the Reciprocity Bill alone was to be considered, will deal with a multiplicity of other subjects. This is likely to jeopardise the passage of the Reciprocity Bill. THE PROSPECT IN CANADA. (Rec. April. 3, 0.55 a.m.) Ottawa, April 2. The Federal House is not expected to prorogue till the end of May. It is hoped that the Reciprocity Agreement will bo passed previous to the prorogation, despite the Opposition campaign of obstruction.
