MANAWATU HUNT CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. Tho annual meeting of the Manawatu Hunt CluO was held on' Thursday evening. Mr. H. D. Buchanan (president) occupied tho chair. The report showed that the club had experienced a successful season, and added that thanks were due to Mr. J. Sweeney (Pahiatua) and Mr. H. D. Buchanan (Palmerston) for the mannei in which they had worked in the interests of the club. Reference , was also made to the work dono by tho late secretary (Mr. J. Davidson), who, unfortunately, through pressure of business, was unable- to continue in that ollice. The balance-sheet shewed assets amounting to £209, including a cash balance of £166 ss.
