The Otaki Bowling Club, in common with other kindred bodies, for some time has desired possession of the handsome Dixon Cup, which is in the possession of the Feilding Club, and Bartholomew's, champion rinks has withstood four challenges. Yesterday Byron Brown's rink came up from Otaki, but made a poor showing. ■ The Feilding green was far too keen for the visitors, who went down by 32 to 15. Bartholomew's men had scored IS before Brown's rink had a look in, and then in the ninth head came 5, followed in tho thirteenth by 6, making the fine score of 13 in two heads.'
