THE WELLINGTON CLUB. The Wellington Club will be represented by the following rinks on Saturday next in the play-off with Newtown Club for the Senior Pennant:— On Homo Green: Still, Hildreth, F. Laurenson, Ballinger (s.); L. Blundell, Vcitch, Thompson, Webb (s.). On Newtown Green: Leslie, H. Frost, G. Brown, Churchward (s.); Kinvig, Brtmskill, Mayer, Bell (s.). MATCH FOR DIXON CUP. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Feilding, slarch 30. The Otaki Bowling Club, in common with other kindred bodies, for some time has desired possession of the handsome Dixon Cup, which is in the possession of the Feilding Club, and Bartholomew's, champion rinks has withstood four challenges. Yesterday Byron Brown's rink came up from Otaki, but made a poor showing. ■ The Feilding green was far too keen for the visitors, who went down by 32 to 15. Bartholomew's men had scored IS before Brown's rink had a look in, and then in the ninth head came 5, followed in tho thirteenth by 6, making the fine score of 13 in two heads.' When the twenty-first and .final head hacL been played Otaki had scorcdviu ;pri|-yi "cfivoj heads. The visitors declared the Feil'dingites to be a fine set of sportsmen and the green tho besMu''NW-fl&iulml!. Three rinks from- ,the Victoria Club (Wellington) are-expected to. make their annual Eastertide visit to the Feilding Club. Feilding is sending one rink, tothe Palmerston Easter tournament, and two rinks to challenge Wanganui for tho KcOsing Cup.
