.MONTHLY MEETING. . The.. monthly, meeting of the Wellington Harbour Board was -held last night. Present: Mr. It. Fletcher (chairman), F. G. Bolton, M. Cohen, C. E. Dauiell, J. AV. M'Ewan, H. C. Tewsley. and W. T. Hildrefh. Payments totalling ,£18,753 12s. Gd. (including .£5758 ss. 4d. for progress payments on contracts) were passed for payment. The chairman reported that the tender of Mr. C. F. Pulley for removal of piles, etc., from dock site, Te Aro, ,£IOOO, being the lowest and in order, had been accepted with Messrs. Francis Holmes and David Andrews as sureties. Mr. Frank Wills was appointed returning officer to conduct elections by payers of dues under the new Act. A warrant to Mr. T. S. Weston to defend Supreme Court, action brought against the. board' by Mrs. Eliza Jane Baillic was sealed. . The number of tenders received for supplies were as follows: —Hardware, 5; ships' chandlery, 3; oil and colourmen's stores, fi; timber.
