WOODVILLE.

At the local A.A.C. sports meeting, which is to be held on Wednesday, Woodville people will have the pleasure of seeing four New Zealaud champions competing, viz.Harding, of Wairarapa; Hill, Auctkland; Stolir, Taranakij and Kerr, Wellington. The annual distribution of prizes in connection .with the local Methodist Church took place on Sunday. The marks gained by a* large proportion of tho scholars were excellent. The maximum number which could be pained was 420 and a large number of scholars attained between 403 and 400. The harvest festival services were also held on Sunday, the preacher being the Rev. Mr. Richards, of Norsewood.
