LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
TAKES HOLD IN THE WAIKATO. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, March 19. A sub-union of the Auckland Rugby League (Northern Union rules) was formed on Friday evening at Ngaruawahia. Four clubs, Huntly, Taupiri, Rangiriri, and Ngaruawahia have formed themselves into a Lower Waikato District Rugby League, and will apply to the Auckland Provincial League for affiliation.
