■ THE Y.M.C.A. ANNUAL MEETING. • The annual general meeting of the Y.M.C.A. Hockey Glib was attended by a' fair number of member?. Mr. 11. N. Holmes occupied the chair. The annual report showed a fairly good record for the credit, of the senior team, who finished third in their competition, but rather a majority of losses for the juniors. Tho treasurer's balance-sheet showed a debit balance of M ss. .id., most, of which can be wiped off, however, by outstanding subscriptions. Tho election of officers resulted as under:— President, Mr. J. W. Fossette (reelected); vice-presidents, Hon. 0. M. Luke, Messrs. H. N. M'Leod, \V. E. Soutlnvick, E. S. Falconer, J. W. Brown, E. J. Colley, and A. W. Parton (all re-elected); the election of club captain was held over for a subsequent meeting; honorary secretary, Mr. R. A. Parton (re-elected); treasurer, Mr. W. Haase; auditor, Mr. W. E. Southwick; management committee, Messrs. Paul, E. Loader, and S. Murrell; selection committee (for first match only). Messrs. Hi N. Holmcsi C. R. Luke, and W. Haase; delegates to -W.H.A., Messrs. W. Haase and R. A. Parton." Tho subscription was fixed, at 10s. 6d. for senior- players and 7s. 6d. for all others. . It was decided to begin practice on Saturday, April .1. The thanks of the club were extended to the retiring officers and to Messrs. .T. W. Fossette, J. AY. Brown, and Hon. C. M. Luke for donations to the club's funds.
