PRACTICE "REPREHENSIBLE."
Tho Kopuaranga correspondent of the Masterton "Times" writes:—"The subject of 'faking' sheep for shows and for tlio ram fair lias been discussed 011 all sides, and it is generally conccded that the practice is reprehensible. No doubt a 'faked' sheep is a nice animal to look at, but it is a 'waster' 011 the farm. Mr. Williams deserves the thanks of every farmer who has the interests of his Hock at heart for. bringing this matter so prominently before the public,"-
